DMY are a collective of shakers and movers who think beyond existing borders while taking action and experimenting beyond established values. They promote interdisciplinary projects and the design of utopia. The annual international exhibition on young design trends taking place in may in Berlin is simultaneously a platform, a meeting place and a playground.The aim is on one hand to focus the dynamic potential of young designer work and to offer the designers a framework to gain access to a wider public. On the other hand, we offer various industries and businesses the possibility to select products of their interest within a versatile designer and developer hothouse.Furthermore, DMY act on an international level to expand their network for young designers through diverse contributions at other existing design festivals or by implementing special exhibitions, road shows and cooperation projects.
