at yesterday’s share event, pixel noizz presented his standalone curly code pre application. with a graphic tablet and a midi controller freehand illustrations and patterns can be created in real-time in 3d space. unlike generative visual patterns, curly code is really responsive due to the full control via the human interface devices. the aestetics reach from simple lines, to glitchy ribbon like structures, pulsating dots along the vectors and really nice rotation feedback visuals. it’s entertaining to watch and definetly addictive to use. with today’s release of OS 10.6 and QuartzComposer 4 we’re really curious about the future of this great application.
