Nalepa performte bei der Do Lab Stage in Coachella, produzierte Tracks mit Legenden wie Bill Laswell und Pharaoah Sanders, und rockte zusammen mit Amon Tobin, Cut Chemist und DJ Spooky.[\/lang_de] Todd, aka. VJ Synesthete<\/strong> from LA, comes from a post-production and documentary film making background. He spent a number of years working for Technicolor Creative Services and on documentary projects around the world. The growth of the American Rave Scene in the early nineties motivated Todd to expand his artistic repertoire by fusing video with music live in a club setting. Todd continues to bring cinematic influences to his work as a live performer. Todd draws from a wide range of cult cinema and motion graphics material to composite his live performances into a unique brew for consumption by a thirsty public parched by the desert of traditional media experiences.[\/lang_en]<\/p>\n [lang_de]Todd alias VJ Synesthete<\/strong> aus LA kommt aus der Post-Production und Dokumentarfilm-schiene. Both share a cranky affinity towards pixilated and pixelated substance and appearance. They are permanently working on the communication between the visual artist and the obsever. The =ff= method to achieve this is presenting an exaggerated self glorification withing the narrative content of the shown short-films on screen and on stage at the same time. =ff= equip themselves with odd costumes, film each other and spontaneously interweave fictional actions and short narratives into their gonzo style perception of the local surrounding.[\/lang_en]<\/p>\n [lang_de]=ff=<\/strong> [eff-eff], [da-bl eff] \u2013 Visuelle Darstellergruppe. Gemeinschaftsprojekt der Videok\u00fcnstler Kiritan Flux und fRED aus Berlin. Beide verbindet eine skurrile Affinit\u00e4t zu leicht abgedrehter und trashiger Thematik und gleichartiger Darstellung. St\u00e4ndig besch\u00e4ftigen sie sich mit der Kommunikation zwischen Visualk\u00fcnstler und Konsumenten. Die =ff= Methode, dies zu erreichen, besteht in der Darstellung von \u00fcbersteigerter Selbstglorifizierung, sowohl in den gezeigten narrativen Kurzgeschichten in ihren Videosequenzen, als auch in ihrer Rolle auf der B\u00fchne. Erst in unmittelbarer Umgebung der geplanten Vorf\u00fchrung r\u00fcsten sie sich mit skurriler Kost\u00fcmierung aus, filmen sich selbst in der ihnen meist fremden Umgebung und verweben spontan am Drehort ausgedachte fiktive Handlungen und Kurzgeschichten.[\/lang_de]<\/p>\n [lang_en]The K:ITA<\/strong> started on the first of June 2007 as a temporarily (and through this enduring) crossmedial art-project in Berlin at Bersarinplatz in Friedrichshain. A creative oasis with a garden and art-studios right in the heart of Berlin. 22 artists and groups from the Netherlands, France, USA, Italy, England, Australia, Germany… etc. join the „kitty“ and work together for one year. In the former DDR – Kindergarden many different arts are collaborating: sound, video, lightdesign, fine arts, music, painting, sculpture, fashion, webdesign, performance, printing, dance, New Network Technology, photography.
