“ The\u00a026th Chaos Communication Congress (26C3)<\/strong> is the annual four-day conference organized by the\u00a0Chaos Computer Club (CCC)<\/a>. It takes place from December 27th to December 30th 2009\u00a0at the bcc Berliner Congress Center in Berlin<\/a>, Germany.<\/p>\n

The Congress offers\u00a0lectures<\/a> and\u00a0workshops<\/a><\/strong> on a multitude of topics and attracts a diverse audience of thousands of hackers, scientists, artists, and utopians from all around the world. The 26C3s slogan is „Here Be Dragons“.<\/p>\n

For 26 years, the congress is organized by the community and appreciates\u00a0all kind of participation<\/a>. You are encouraged to contribute by\u00a0volunteering<\/a>, setting up and attending\u00a0hands-on events<\/a> or presenting\u00a0your own projects<\/a><\/strong> to fellow hackers.<\/p>\n

We expect more than 2342 hackers from all over the world, so some basic\u00a0survival guidelines<\/a> might come in handy for everything not answered in our\u00a026C3 FAQ<\/a><\/strong>. This year we’ve come up with two new concepts,Dragons everywhere<\/a> and a special care-ticket program, outlined in our\u00a0recent blogpost<\/a>. “<\/p>\n
