Artuino is proud to announce our first Arduino Workshop for Geeks and Artists in Berlin. Organizers: Anton M, Noni Katz.
All participants get to design and build their own Arduino project.
What and why?
Arduino boards are small physical computing platforms, consisting of a simple I/O board and an integrated development environment. Arduino’s can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer.

Am Donnerstag, den 18.06.2009 nach 20h wird Simon vom Sugar Labs ins Karakuş kommen und das gleichnamige Betriebssystem auf einem XO-1 Laptop des OLPC Projekts vorstellen. Wer sich dafür interessiert ist herzlich dazu eingeladen vorbeizuschauen.
Was ist Sugar? Sugar…
…ist eine speziell für Kinder konzipierte Lernplattform
…wurde ursprünglich für den XO-1 des OLPC-Projektes entwickelt.
…ist nun auch auf anderen Computern einsetzbar
…wurde hauptsächlich für Kinder von 5 bis 12 Jahren konzipiert
…wird heute zum Beispiel in Peru, Uruguay und Nepal eingesetzt
…ist Open-Source-Software
…gibt es in Deutsch und in 25 anderen Sprachen
Um die Software hat sich mittlerweile eine heterogene Gemeinschaft von Pädagogen, Lehrern, Entwicklern und Eltern gebildet. Die gemeinnützige Organisation Sugar Labs bietet eine Plattform um Sugar weiterzuentwickeln und neue Lerninhalte zu schaffen.

On June 5th
More than a movie, HOME will be a major event around the globe: for the first time ever, a film will be released on the same day in over 50 countries.
June 5th 2009, World Environment Day has been chosen as the highly symbolic date for this simultaneous, and free of charge, release on every format: movie theatre, TV, DVD and Internet. The aim of director Yann Arthus-Bertrand, distributor Luc Besson and François-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of PPR, the film’s official sponsor, is to reach the widest possible audience, and to convince us all of our individual and collective responsibility towards the planet.
ON JUNE 5th WE ALL HAVE A DATE WITH THE PLANET!

Ein Weltereignis
HOME ist nicht nur ein Film, sondern auch ein Weltereignis: Zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte wird ein Spielfilm gleichzeitig in über 50 Ländern gezeigt.
Als symbolisches Datum wurde der 5. Juni 2009, der Weltumwelttag, ausgewählt für diese simultane – und größtenteils kostenlose – Uraufführung in allen Medien: Kino, Fernsehen, DVD und Internet. Ziel des Regisseurs Yann Arthus-Bertrand, des Produzenten Luc Besson und des Präsidenten des PPR-Konzerns François-Henri Pinault als offizieller Unterstützer des Films ist es, möglichst viele Menschen zu erreichen und uns alle davon zu überzeugen, dass wir jeder Verantwortung für diesen Planeten tragen.
AM 5. JUNI HABEN WIR ALLE EINE VERABREDUNG MIT DIESER ERDE!
